Stink Bug

I found this Florida Predatory Stink Bug in my woodpile. I couldn't figure out what it was so I got an old friend to ID it for me. I love the bright colors and contrast.  105 Micro Nikkor 

Birds Nest Fungus

Birds Nest Fungus are little marvels of Nature and you can see where they get their name. Most often found under Pines and Spruces, I found these under a Blue Spruce in my front yard.

Camellia Flower

 Camellia Flowers are one of the first flowers to bloom around my house, they bloom towards the end of the Winter even when the temps are still cold. 105 Micro Nikkor, several images with different focus points stacked in Photoshop to increase depth of field.

Tendrils

Tendrils can take on some interesting shapes, especially if they haven't found anything to attach to.

Argiope

 One of my favorite Spiders, the black and yellow Argiope, begin to become increasingly prominent this time of year. Also known as Garden Spiders, they grow quite large. One in my garden is over 2.5in long.
